I wrote Pro Lime Juicer in the summer of 2013 while soaking up some sun and citrus at the Outer Banks in North Carolina. It is proven that the beach/ocean has physical and mental benefits so we all deserve a little down time with sun, salt, and sand. I’m not sure if it’s a poem or song lyrics but either way I was lucky enough to capture some of the week’s inspiration here:

Everyone has a dream and I have mine
My happy place starts with a lime
It goes in the guac. It goes with the rum.
It’s best with tequila, then we’re all having fun.
Because when everyone is letting loose,
it’s something in the juice.

I never wanted to be a reality show loser
because I’m fruit passionate and a damn fine juicer.
I’m a pro lime juicer, a pro lime juicer.
I’m a pro lime juicer and I squeeze a good lime.
I’m a pro lime juicer and I have a good time.

There’s a God of the Sea and a God of Wine.
But why oh why is there no God of Limes.
I’m looking to the sky, praying to Zeus.
I’m your best man for the God of Juice.
Because when you’re letting loose,
it’s heaven from the juice.

You start with a slice and end with a squeeze.
Flows straight from the heart.
Picked straight from the tree.
Citrus gold is in there. Citrus blood is in me.
Citrus blood is in me.

I never wanted to be a reality show loser
because I’m fruit passionate and a damn fine juicer.
I’m a pro lime juicer, a pro lime juicer.
I’m a pro lime juicer and I squeeze a good lime.
I’m a pro lime juicer and I’m doing just fine.
